Mission

To aid and support special needs families, particularly those affected by autism.

Welcome

First, I would like to say "Thank You" for checking us out. With the help of the Petersons, I was able to create this foundation, which is very personal to me.

I am blessed with three children and eight grandchildren and one of my grandchildren has Autism. His name is Caleb and before he was diagnosed with Autism, I thought of our life as "Normal". Well, it is normal, if anyone can tell me what "Normal" is! We just have to deal with things a little differently than other families.

There have been many challenges, frustrations and rewarding moments with Caleb and that is the reason I chose to create this foundation. I found there was a need locally to help families with special needs children to learn and grow and deal with the challenges and appreciate the rewards. Among those challenges there can be financial strains, so our goal is to not only assist with the emotional, but the financial needs as well.

About the Peterson's

Our foundation was named in honor of Irven and the late Janice Peterson. They are natives of the McKinley WI area. They have inspired many local families with their unconditional love they have shown this community. They were active in 4H, Sunday School, bible school and babysitting. Education and helping the community was very important to both of them.
